Mickey' s Not So Scary Halloween Party
Mickey’s Not- So-Scary Halloween Party
Mickey’s spook-tacular celebrations is not so scary its a blast. We have attended the party 5 times. Four at Magic Kingdom in Orlando once at Disneyland California. Every time we have attended the celebration we always find something new to experience. Mickey celebration is held on certain nights starting in August until November 1st. This event does required a special ticket. The event is 7:00 pm to midnight. But you can enter the park at 4:00 pm so you can get a full 8 hours at the park. The event is also less crowds because of limited amount of ticket allowed per event. But the closer it gets to halloween the event will get more crowed as locals come out. If you able to attend during the week I recommend it.
One thing that is really exciting about the event is ALL ages are allowed to come dressed in costume for the occasion. You will see some amazing costume from guest. Some are so good you shocked to find out they aren’t disney. Also some of your disney favorite characters will be dressed up. Of course there are some rules and regulations so make sure to check out disney website before choosing your costume.
The entire park is transformed into one HUGE party. It actually reminds me of a seen out of a disney movie. There is ghoulishly treats that are only at the event. There is boo to you halloween parades, special halloween shows at the castle and an amazing fireworks show. There are normally 2 times for each event check out the times so you don’t miss out.
(JUST ANNOUNCED 2019) For the 1st time in 14 years disney is introducing a brand new Halloween fireworks show)
Lets talk about the CANDY!!!!
Trick-or-Treat Throughout the park!! It is a kids dream even my dream. Get your fill of Halloween sweets and snacks as you gather up goodies from land to land. It honestly puts Halloween night to shame in my household. Some rides will even close to pass at candy. Candy is a mix of the popular brands. Allergy-Friendly Fun candy available just make sure to let a cast member know and you will be given a special bag.
On top of candy you can reserve a spot at a special dessert event and even have a special place to watch the fireworks.
While people are trick- or - treating, watching firework, eating desserts, thats when we also take advantage of the lines not being so crowded. One of the many plus to going to an event at the park less wait times.
Other parks have fun decorations throughout for the season also at Hollywood Studio you can dine at Minnie’s Halloween Dine at the Vine. We have done this the last 2 times and have loved it. Great way to get pictures with your favorite characters dressed for the occasion. It is a buffet style with unique menu names for halloween. Highly recommend going.
